Guangdong Stored Pu-erh Tea

Wet stored Pu-erh teas have a unique taste and aroma. This is due to their storage condition in hot and humid climates like Guangdong, Xishuangbanna, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The wetter storage conditions produce a more aged taste and a darker tea soup. Some people prefer this type of storage and many consider it be "Traditional Storage" for Pu-erh. We avoid offering any teas with noticeable white molding or other mold or spores visually present, or those with a moldy taste. To be sure our offering is considered "dry wet storage".
